All my life I’ve been surrounded by music, even when I was a youngster my parents listened to it a lot, because to them it was not only a spiritual healing remedy, but mentally and physicallly medically music is a antidote to relieve every day stress which back then I could not comprehend with or relate to, and this is how it all began. What can be said about DJ Uno, well he is one of the most under rated Original Veteran all rounder and pioneer DJ / MC’s, not only in the UK but the hard Core Jungle drum and Bass scene as it stands to day. Music is my life my name is DJ Set Speed and I am 22 years old, turning the big two-three (23) on the 9th of june 2005. If u r wondering where I got the name set speed from, my good friend neutrino gave it to me. He heard me playing and thought I was quick at putting my mixes together. I started mixing about 10 years ago, back in 1994 when I was 13. My main influence was my older brother who was producing and mixing hip-hop back in the late 80’s and early nineties. DJ SLB was introduced to the rave scene at the age of 14 by listening to radio stations such as: Sunrise , Pulse , Destiny, Rush & Kool F.M. SLB was inspired by djs from Pulse (massive big up!). By enjoying every aspect of the rave culture, at the age of 16 SLB started to mix regularly and began to make a name for himself on pirate radio stations (Feeling FM 87.9; Breeze FM 96.3; Tidy FM 104.6; Renegade FM 107.4; Hyper FM 106.5; Flava FM 88.4; and Abyss FM 96.5.), pubs, and squat parties.

During the past 17 years I have been involved in, and around the music business. The music scene surrounding me was all of great inspiration from rhythm & blues to Ska; I loved anything with a strong beat. The family business involves the installation of PA’s in various music venues in South London therefore it was inevitable that music would be a pivot in my life. I began drumming from the age of 5 and had a full size drum kit installed in my bedroom accompanied by lessons.

Jen Jen aka DJ Mis-Chief
Jen Jen has been a DJ for 12 years, breaking out at free parties, and going on to play as resident at clubs such as the U.F.O. (Carl Cox’s favourite!), Bristol Exposure, RuffneckTing (Bristol), Enzos (Salisbury), BIG LOVE, Sunnyside and with the Liberator crew at Londons underground parties. She was resident at Radical Rehousing in Amsterdam for 2 years, and played The Mazzo (Amsterdams finest), and at Neksus in Montreal, Canada in 1994. She has also played Ibiza, France, Tunisia, San Francisco, Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle (1996 and 1998).
